We’re incredibly proud of Miss Alice, who recently travelled to Manchester with a group of our senior dancers to compete at the Barbara Sharples International Choreographic Awards, held at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Alice entered her beautiful piece, By the Light of Her Lamp, which was originally created for our Icons show earlier this year. The piece, inspired by the incredible life and work of Florence Nightingale, explores themes of strength, compassion and empowerment through powerful choreography, music and the use of lamps as a key visual element.

We were thrilled to discover that the piece had made it through to the finals, giving our senior dancers the exciting opportunity to perform it on such a prestigious stage.

A huge congratulations to Miss Alice on this fantastic achievement, and a very special thank you to all of the girls who performed the piece, as well as everyone who supported Alice throughout the process.

We’re so proud to see Ambition choreography being taken beyond the studio and onto new stages, and we look forward to entering the competition again in the future! ✨
